About Nordra
I wanted to make a semi realistic portrait and practice using pixar's renderman, so I spent a bit of my summer holiday making this project.
Nordra is a swamp nymph.
Before the monthly ball in the swamp she and the other nymphs would decorate themselves with mushrooms and paints. They would let the mushrooms grow on them all month.
In the heat of the party all the mushrooms would all fall off again and the morning after they would begin the decoration again, thus the cycle continues.

- Base sculpt in Zbrush
- Retopologized in Maya
- Posed in Zbrush with transpose master and Zsphere rig
- Textures and maps made with Mari
- Rendered with Renderman
- Composited in Photoshop and Nuke
